C Participant Information
(a) Participation Eligibility:
Individual inventors and researchers, research institutes, enterprises, technology transfer organizations, patent brokers and promoters of innovations who own inventions or new products which are either patent pending or are covered by patents. Intellectual property service providers such as patent offices, suppliers of IP Information, IP consultancies, IP related institutions.
(b) Application Permit & Space Reservation:
Those wishing to attend the exhibition must fill in and return the application form together with company's profile or two copies of product catalogues before June 30, 2008 by mail to: “5 Hsin-yi Rd., Sec. 5, Taipei, 11011 Taiwan”. Please specify ''2008 Taipei International Invention Show & Technomart '' on the envelope.
(c) All applicants may request booth(s) only on a 3m (width) X 3m (depth) unit basis.
(d) A maximum of 3 inventions are allowed to be exhibited per booth.
(e) The organizer reserves the right to accept or reject any application and to determine the size, number, and location of booth(s).
(f) Booth allocation priorities are based on: (1) number of booth(s) requested
(2) date of payment (on a first-come, first-served basis)
(g) After the booths are allocated, the organizer will inform all applicants of their booth number, and send them an Exhibition Manual which provides detailed information and procedures on electricity, shipping instructions, the travel agent, and the forwarding & handling agent.
(h) The organizer will not sponsor exhibitor visa applications, and cannot be held liable in case of visa difficulties.
D Exhibition Manual
Upon acceptance of application, each exhibitor will receive an Exhibition Manual which contains information and details regarding procedures on electricity, shipping instructions, the travel agent, forwarding & handling agent, and booth setup & rental facilities.
E Publicity Campaign
An active publicity campaign for this event will ensure that optimum media coverage reaches thousands of potential buyers and visitors.
(a) Advertising & Publicity
An intensive advertisement campaign will include local and overseas trade publications and magazines. Press releases will be circulated before the show.
(b) Direct Mail
More than 40,000 domestic and overseas prospective buyers, including key manufacturers, traders, distributors, and government organizations, will receive information and invitations to the show.
(c) Show Daily
The organizer will publish the Show Daily during the four-day event. This publication comes in both English/Chinese editions which includes exhibit news, special events, and important tips for exhibitors and buyers.
(d) Official Directory
The organizer will publish an official directory, containing details on all exhibitors, including the company profile and products.
(e) Online networking
All exhibitors' exhibit profiles will be posted on the website at: http://www.InvenTaipei.com.tw Visitors can use it to search exhibitor information and related show information.

Remarks: Each booth is provided with wall partitions, full carpet, fascia board with company name, 1 reception desk, 2 folding chairs, 3 spotlights (100W), 1 socket (110V) and 1 wastepaper basket. Additional equipment shall be at exhibitor’s expense.
H Payment Schedule
(a) A down payment (US$150 per booth) should be paid to reserve the booth space after application is confirmed. After space allocation in July 2008, the organizer will notify applicants of their booth number(s) as well as the balance due according to their booth location. Full payment (to save banking charges) is also welcome.
(b) All payment should be made by telegraphic transfer or check payable to "Taiwan External Trade Development Council", crossed" A/C Payee Only".
(c) Bank telegraphic transfer should be made to "Taiwan External Trade Development Council", Account Number: 085-007000016 at the "Bank of Taiwan, Taipei World Trade Center Branch, Swift ID: BKTWTWTPO085", with the name of the show, “2008 Taipei International Invention Show & Technomart” clearly stated in the "Remarks" Area. All banking charges, if any, are to be borne by the applicant.
(d) Down payment and balance already paid will not be refunded under any circumstances.
